In 1957, Don Wood organized Wood Oil Equipment located in Leesburg, FL.  The company has been family owned and operated since inception.  Primarily the core business was servicing and installing retail petroleum equipment.  In 1959, Don and his team relocated to Orlando, FL and later, incorporated and changed the company name to Don Wood, Inc.

Since relocating to Orlando, the company has continued to grow the business in supplying, servicing and installing quality petroleum equipment and accessories.  Don Wood, Inc. has represented the finest manufacturers of Industrial and Petroleum Handling devices such as tanks, pumps, meters, fuel management systems, tank monitor and leak detection systems, lubrication systems, hoses and air compressors with all related valves and parts required. Don Wood himself has been in the liquid handling equipment business for over 50 years.  He has been a member of PEI since 1962. In previous years Don served on the Board of Directors of PEI and was re-elected to the Board in 2007.

Don Wood, Inc. installation department specializes in the development and implementation of petroleum based liquid handling equipment construction projects.  Recent projects have propelled us to the leading edge of technology with the introduction of bio-diesel fueling requirements.  Years of hands-on practical experience with pioneering ingenuity allows for the efficient and timely completion of installation and removal of tanks, lubrication equipment and fuel dispensing equipment.  In addition, our team prides itself on an impeccable safety record.

Our service department offers factory-trained and certified technicians qualified to install, repair and maintain Automated Fuel Management Systems, Filtration Systems, Lubrication Systems, Mechanical or Electronic Fueling Systems, and Loading Systems for Bulk Plant Terminals. Our trucks are fully stocked with an extensive parts inventory so we can provide quality, prompt and efficient service.  

We also offer Tank Cleaning, Inspections and Certification. In addition, Services for meter repair or calibration and pump rebuilding or repair are available.

Our Inventory Specialist maintains a fully stocked warehouse in order to accommodate your equipment and parts needs.  The counter parts staff will be able to recommend the specific parts needed to maximize productivity for your application.  Our extensive Parts Inventory allows in-store pick up or same day shipping.  If special order parts are needed, we will order and drop ship to the address of your choice.  In most cases, we can also place Emergency Orders to be shipped overnight.   The Parts and Equipment Showroom is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
